India easily won the 3rd T20I by seven wickets and took the lead 2-1 in a five-match T20I series.
The good news was that Suryakumar Yadav aka SKY opened the innings while chasing a total of 165 and smashed 76 runs off just 44 balls and helped India to cross the line.
The bad news was that Rohit Sharma got retired hurt with back spasms after playing just five balls and didn’t come back to bat. As per the reports, Rohit Sharma is fit and will be playing in the next two T20Is which will be played in the United States of America at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill, Florida.
ICC has been trying hard to get Cricket popular in the US for 12 years but hasn’t been able to do it convincingly. These two T20Is can turn the tables if both teams manage to entertain the crowd as they did in the last face-off.
India just needed the two runs off the last balls and they lost the match by one run while chasing a mammoth total of 246. Windies won the series 1-0 as the second T20 match got washed due to rain.
We can expect the same kind of entertainment again as the ground is not big and batters can easily send the ball out of the park.
