Another T20I match between two competitive teams India and Australia, another nail-biting last over-finish.
Indian team clinched the three-match T20I series by winning two consecutive games after losing the first match at Mohali.
Indian version of Mr. 360 Suryakumar Yadav and run-machine Virat Kohli took their team to a thumping win by six wickets in the third T20I match of India-Australia at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on 25 September 2022.
SKY aka Suryakumar Yadav (69 off 36 balls), and ex Indian captain Virat Kohli (63 off 48 balls) made 104 runs stand for the third wicket after losing both the openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul within the powerplay.
Nine out of eleven sixes were smashed by Suryakumar Yadav, and Virat Kohli while chasing a mammoth total of 187.
Indian spinners Axar Patel, and Yuzvendra Chahal bowled brilliantly under pressure and restricted Australian batters to put 200+ total on the scoreboard.
On the other hand, visitor’s spinners Adam Zampa, and Glenn Maxwell didn’t bowl well in comparison with the hosts’ spinners that led India to win the series 2-1.
