Ind vs SL, 3rd ODI Highlights: Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill’s Batting Exhibition and Mohammed Siraj’s Sizzling Spell Crushed Sri Lanka

Indian team created history, sweeping Sri Lanka 3-0 after a massive thumping 317-run win in the third ODI match against Sri Lanka.

It’s the biggest margin of victory ever in the history of ODI cricket.

Virat Kohli (166*), Shubman Gill (116), and Mohammed Siraj (4/32) delivered some mouth-watering performances that made the whole Sri Lankan team helpless.

The Sri Lankan team could have shown some fight in the second innings while chasing a mammoth total of 391 but the Indian team hit the bull’s eye in every department whether it’s bowling, batting, or fielding.

India got off to a great start after winning the toss as Indian openers captain cool Rohit Sharma and dashing young batter Shubhman Gill provided the needed early start by building an opening stand of 95 runs in 15.2 overs.

Rohit Sharma played steady innings of 42 off 49 deliveries with the assistance of two boundaries and three huge sixes.

Shubman Gill proved right the selectors’ and team’s decision of picking him ahead of Ishan Kishan in the playing XI. It was a tough decision to pick Shuman Gill as left-handed batter + wicket-keeper Ishan Kishan blasted a double hundred in his last innings in the third ODI against Bangladesh at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram.

Virat Kohli’s tryst with 15th January is very special as the Indian run-machine already scored three centuries on the same day in 2017 (122 vs England), 2018 (153 vs South Africa), and 2019 (104 vs Australia) before today’s blistering innings of 166* off just 110 balls with an impressive strike rate of 150+.
